[ Interview with Ashley Vee ]

Dfined: So Ashley tell us about yourself?

Ashley Vee: I was born and raised in the Bay Area in a town called Vallejo. I’m a young motivated twenty-one year old pursing her dreams as a nurse and a successful model. I’ve been modeling since the age of eighteen and enjoy & love every bits of it.

Dfined: How were you inspired to be a model?

Ashley Vee: When I was about sixteen years old my guy friends would always tease me about me becoming an Import Model and showing me their Import magazines and such. Now i’m twenty-one, I can now tease them by showing them that I am in a magazine, hehe! (Performace, Auto & Sound Magazine) The teasing paid off hehe

Dfined: How long have you been modeling & with what company?

Ashley Vee: At the age of eighteen I started go-go dancing for one of the biggest crew to hit the Bay Area; called Rockthebay Entertainment. Since then I’ve been offered to work with many other promotional groups, events and awesome photographers already such as; Steve Bitanga, Arturo Torres & so on.

Dfined: Did you pursue modeling or did modeling find you?

Ashley Vee: At sixteen years old, many agencies gave me offers to become a model, but I didnt take it. At eighteen, I started pursing modeling into the whole import scene and since then it’s been very much successful

Dfined: So what are your career goals in life?

Ashley Vee: My #1 career goal in life is to become a Pediatric Nurse. As far for modeling, I want to reach for being a cover model for Maxim Magazine. Wish me luck guys!

Dfined: If you could change something about yourself, what would it be?

Ashley Vee: Well some people hate me for it but, I’d change the fact that I’m skinny! I can eat like a cow, but nothing happens haha

Dfined: What are some things that you are passionate about?

Ashley Vee: I’m passionate about music; I’ve been playing the piano since the age of four, dancing; my stress reliever and photography; where I can express myself through pictures.

Dfined: Name something that you would like to be really good at?

Ashley Vee: I think it’ll be cool if I knew how to sing really well so that one day I can be a famous model / singer just like Tila Tequila (just not BI.:))

Dfined: What sets you different from other models in the industry?

Ashley Vee: Every model believes that they are different from everyone else, but I know that I can say I’m not as diva like every other model. I’m laid back & easy going

Dfined: What was the most memorable moment while modeling?

Ashley Vee: Haha, I believe that most memorable moment was when I was a guest model at a special teen event in San Francisco and while I was signing autographs, a girl literally ran so fast to me she fell on her face and said, “Oh my God, Ashley Vee! I love you!…sorry i’m so thizzin’” (Don’t do drugs!)

Dfined: Now for the fun! So what your most embarrassing moment?

Ashley Vee: I can’t really think of an embarrassing moment, but… One night I was go-go dancing at the club and I was in one of the big cages wearing my big ‘chewbacca’ boots that I flipped upside down in the cage that I hit one of the dude’s head with my big boots! Not only was I embarrassed for missing the ground I was also embarrassed for him! But its okay! He said he’ll get hit on the head by ‘Ashley Vee’ anyday! LMAO!

Dfined: What is your dream car?

Ashley Vee: a hot pink maserati w/ black rims and pink trimmings!

Dfined: If you was a gummy bear which would you be?

Ashley Vee: I’d want to be the red one! The yummy one.

Dfined: What song annoys you the most that is out?

Ashley Vee: I’m sick and tired of hearing “Get Low” by Flo Rida, the radio just kilt it for me playing it 50 times a day!

Dfined: In a fire would you save ur shoes bags or makeup? ( pick one only )

Ashley Vee: I couldn’t leave my MAC makeup! Do you know how much a lipglass cost?!

Dfined: How did you hear about Dfined?

Ashley Vee: I heard it through the grapevine.

Dfined: What do you think about the Dfined site?

Ashley Vee: This site is pretty dope, it represents for all models, djs, artists & etc. It tells what they’re about and a little about themselves, which pretty cool. I also like the fast updates on club pictures too! Good job Jerry!
